It’s been MONTHS since I’ve touched my blog or

It’s been MONTHS since I’ve touched my blog or posted here. I’ve had a lot of stress and anxiety but the past couple of weeks have been so rejuvenating for me.
•
Two weeks ago I got to go to the temple after a hard long week.
•
Last weekend we celebrated Easter and Saturday I submitted my last assignment of my bachelors.
•
Today was the last day of classes and our house is mostly clean. Also we have a house!
•
Today I felt pure, can’t stop smiling, joy as I listened to my boys giggle and play at the park today and it was such a tender mercy 💕
•
It was the me I have been desperately trying to find again and I’m so happy for the two hours of full on stress free bliss.
•
Here’s to being more present finding more joy in our trials!

So, I got this outfit awhile ago and stuck it in Easton’s drawers to wait until fall.

It’s finally cool enough and close enough to Halloween so I dug it out and put it on him. ☠️

I think it’s probably better suited for Spencer at this point but it was way to cute to take off and change.

He’s dabbled with rice cereal a bit and either devours it up immediately or refuses to take a single bite.

Whenever you lay him down he always manages to grab the corner of a blanket and pull it up to his face! He loves examining his toys and then putting them in his mouth!

He doesn’t like to miss out on anything and loves watching his big brother play. Easton is also having a more enjoyable time interacting with his brother because Spencer likes to give him big smiles and sometimes even laugh!

The weather was perfect and the sky was beautiful! It had me feeling all sorts of grateful for this little family we’ve created.

Easton likes to cheer him on but yesterday he got so excited it scared Spencer and he started tipping over😂

We are trying to eat healthier as a family. So far

We are trying to eat healthier as a family. So far I’ve dabbled with chia seed pudding and quinoa. I’ve been having a hard time staying full and I think it’s part trying to get full on stuff with too much sugar and part because I’m breastfeeding and never really changed my diet to keep up with that.

Honestly, cooking is not my favorite thing in the world so what are some quick and easy meals that don’t take forever to make, are healthy, and still taste good?

Anything that can be prepped ahead of time is a bonus!

Easton turned 2 on Sunday!

Easton has grown up so much in the last couple of weeks. He talks a ton and he’s gotten so physically coordinated. He zooms around on his little bike, throws a frisbee surprisingly well, and passes a soccer ball back and forth!
•
He was spoiled like no other on his big day! The amount of gifts he got is almost embarrassing. I end up taking most of the gifts We got him and saving them for Christmas.

Easton is obsessed with “b-doo” so we through him a ‘Scooby-Doo Says I’m Two’ birthday party and dressed up like the gang. Easton made the cutest little Shaggy!

I think we are hitting a bit of a 4 month sleep regression because I can’t believe how many hours a day this kiddo stays awake!

Thankfully, it’s mostly been coming out of naps during the day so he still sleeps pretty well through the night.
